Granville based his strategy on 75-ball bingo and worked on the premise that balls are drawn or generated randomly. Then, he suggested opting for a bingo ticket with numbers that are as different from each other as possible. So, your bingo ticket would have an equal amount of high, low and odd numbers.
For example, if your bingo ticket includes the number 15, you should make sure that other numbers end in digits different than six and avoid the numbers 5, 25, 35, 45, 55, etc. Being so sure that his theory was possible, Granville even wrote a book in the 70s called “How To Win At Bingo”. However, Granville’s theory is not specific enough to predict which numbers will be called.
Tippett's Theory
Another bingo winning theory comes from a British statistician, Leonard Tippett. Tippett’s theory is based on the ‘perfect average’. He tested his theory on a 75-ball bingo game and chose the number that lies in the middle, number 38, as his perfect average.
